Easy No Bake Butterscotch Haystacks

I bought the ingredients to make the haystacks over Christmas break but we never got around to making them until today. They are super easy and kids can definitely make them! Plus you don't have to bake them and you don't need a lot of ingredients. I remember helping my mom make them when I was little and they were soooo good!

You'll need:

Butterscotch chips

Chow mein noodles

Peanuts - we used the dry roasted

First, melt your butterscotch chips in a microwave safe bowl mixing in between 30 second intervals until creamy and melted. Add in your noodles (probably half a bag) and gently mix until coated. You can add your peanuts right in too but SOMEONE doesn't like them so we added them to our "stacks."

On wax paper, spoon scoops of your mixture and add the peanuts if you didn't already or if you want to. Cole said they looked like bird's nests with eggs. Once they harden you can store them in an airtight container. As you can see, ours are all different sizes but they break apart easily and are super crunchy and sweet.
