Other than eating spaghetti, there are a lot of different activities you can do with it. Plus, it's cheap! Give some of these a try. Do you have any other ideas? Post them in the comments!
1. Sensory bucket/pool
Back before he could talk back, Cole enjoyed playing with spaghetti and it was okay if he ate it since he was eating everything in sight. We used some leftover rainbow spaghetti to play with on a tray and then it ended up in a kiddie pool. Check out the how to make rainbow spaghetti post
2. Fine motor skills
Have the child practice putting cheerios or fruit loops on uncooked spaghetti and then they can eat their work of art.
3. Crazy Spaghetti Hair
Draw a face and glue spaghetti on like hair. Try to make a mohawk!
4. Play Doh
Stick uncooked spaghetti in play doh. Make a hedgehog with spaghetti spikes!
5. Spaghetti Hot Dogs
These are super weird and not really an activity but a hit with kids. They could help you make them. Carefully string uncooked spaghetti through slices of hot dogs then boil in water until both are cooked. Cole thought they were strange and liked pulling the spaghetti out.
