I might be slightly obsessed with Aldi since they put one in our town. Back in the day when I used to actually go grocery shopping, I went to the Shaws that was rarely crowded and did get some great deals sometimes. The day after I had Cole, I started doing Hannaford to go and basically didn't stop until Walmart Grocery came around and I did that for a while. (Gotta have my cheap wine) THEN the pandemic happened and pick up orders were impossible to get so I tried instacart. I had tried a few years ago but didn't feel it was worth it after all the fees and high prices of Shaws. I have now been doing instacart for Aldi groceries weekly since the beginning of April and I love it. I think it's cheaper and I'm obsessed, like I said. I sent my friend to work with an Aldi salad kit for lunch. She thanked me at lunch time and I told her to thank Aldi lol. I could feel her eyeroll from across town when she read that.
Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to see just how much you could be saving on 4 items at Aldi vs. 4 items at Shaws. I chose 4 because that's how many would show up in my screenshot. Just some items we get pretty often - kilbasa, smartfood, burgers and lemonade. By the way, the Aldi burgers are JUST like/if not better than the Bubba burgers, we think.

That is a savings of $13.79 on just 4 products!! Wow. I want to do another comparison of items between the two stores. If you haven't tried instacart and it is available in your area, I recommend it!
