Did you know that you can now make purchases on Amazon with FSA/HSA card and have items delivered to your door?! There is a special spot under payment information where you can add the card. If you search for anything, you can filter to show only results that say FSA/HSA eligible. Amazon will only allow those category purchases to be applied to your FSA/HSA card payment. My benefits start in July so I wanted to try use the remainder of my balance (almost $200!) The items were rolling in and it was like a pharmaceutical Christmas! I didn't even have to submit receipts through my insurance company (yet.) Here are 5 Things I didn't know you could use your card for. I should have been using my card for the over the counter medicines all along so I didn't have the mad rush to use up funds at the end of the benefit year.

1. Afterbite
It's been a buggy year. Cole gets huge lumps when he gets a bugbite so Afterbite is perfect for the itch. Part of it may be psychological lol. As soon as the afterbite is applied, the whining stops.

2. Over the Counter Kids Medicines
Zarbees Cough Syrup
Cole will sometimes ask for cough medicine because he likes this so much! The nightime melatonin does work. He falls asleep faster and stays asleep through the night. I found this two pack of day and nighttime syrup. It's made with dark honey and tasty.

Children's Motrin
Motrin is always good to have on hand with little ones. The berry flavor is a big hit.

Children's Benadryl Allergy Chewables
In the spring, it's runny nose season. Benadryl is another good one to have on hand.

3. Boogie Wipes
I HATE boogers. I know most people do but ew. I can't even look at kids with a bunch of snots. You can use your card for boogie wipes!

4. Goodnites Bedwetting Underwear
These are expensive! We are still in pullups at nighttime but good grief $26?! You can purchase these with your FSA/HSA card.

5. Fairy Tales Lice Prevention Conditioning Spray
When we go back to school, I may purchase this for myself! I've heard good things about. It contains tea tree oil, citronella and peppermint to ward of lice. YUCK! I had no idea you could use your card for this one!
Did you find anything you were surprised to see for kids?
