We scored a box of double chocolate (with chocolate chips already in the box) muffin/bread mix at Aldi for $1.95. Using the recipe on the box, we were able to make 36 mini muffins in our mini muffin tin.
Since they are mini and we cooked in a non stick pan, (that we still sprayed generously with cooking spray) we preheated the oven to 400 degrees and baked them for about 9-10 minutes. I popped them out immediately onto a cooling rack. Once cooled, we put four in a snack bag and got NINE bags! When we buy name brand mini muffins, we pay $5 for 5 bags of 5.
