Shaving cream is so much fun! It's cheap and fluffy and I'm pretty sure this one can will last me a while. I always loved cleaning my desk with shaving cream in elementary school. You could make a thin layer and draw pictures or write your name then just keep rubbing until it was gone.
1. Shaving Cream Bath Paint
Squirt the shaving cream in each section. Add 6 (or so) drops of food coloring then mix together. I used a metal straw and wiped it off after stirring each color. Paint it on the walls or add to the water for fluffy color fun!
2. Frozen Shaving Cream Shark Rescue
Putting those target dollar spot erasers to good use! I used an old gelato container and filled it with shaving cream. I dropped in a few drops of blue food coloring and then swirled it around with a metal straw. In went the cute little shark erasers for a shark rescue adventure. Then I put it in the fridge overnight. Any time the words mission, adventure or rescue are involved, Cole is instantly 100% more interested. Must be all those Puppy Dog Pals and Paw Patrol episodes. If you don't have sharks, use anything you have on hand that would be fun to dig through: small buttons, coins, legos etc.
3. Shaving Cream Car Wash
Start up the big wheels and tractors! Use a big sponge and "clean" the cars with the shaving cream then rinse with the hose. Or you can use small hot wheels or matchbox cars and drive them through the shaving cream to get clean and then through some water to rinse off.
4. Shaving Cream on a desk or table.
It's as simple as that! Squish it, swirl it, smash it, wipe it, draw in it, practice your abc's, drive a truck through it to see the tire marks. The possibilities are endless and easy!
5. Shaving Cream Rain Cloud Experiment
Use a clear glass cup or container so you can see the magic happen. Fill your container with water then top it with some blobs of shaving cream. These will be your clouds. Add a few drops of food coloring and watch the colors rain down. Very cool.
